This rubric is intended to grade a digital story by covering four main topics. The topics are script/storyline, point of view, media application, and creativity. The rubric does not take into account the planning process of the digital story, because in our case it has already been graded. The script and storyline section focuses on the content of the digital story. The section aims to have a cohesive script and storyline that effectively details learning with technology. The point of view section stresses the importance of providing a unique and personal perspective to the assignment. The third section reviews students’ use of the technology provided. For example, how effects, voiceovers, sound, videos, and pictures were used within the video. The last section analyzes the creativity of the project. The section grades if the digital story was compelling and appealing to the audience and if that goal was reached in a creative way.
